Winter Elixir

In my Polish family, winter always meant a bottle of homemade nalewka in the cupboard. A small glass was poured before bed when someone felt a little under the weather, or shared as an aperitif on cold evenings. Winter Elixir is my take on that tradition.

It blends our elderberry tincture with our spiced elderberry syrup made with raw wildflower honey and cinnamon. Rich, warming and gently sweet.

Enjoy a small glass neat as an aperitif, or stir 1 tablespoon into hot water for a comforting drink before bed.

Ingredients: Elderberries (Haschberg variety, grown on a Sussex farm), raw wildflower honey, orange zest, lemon zest, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, cardamom, elderberry tincture (vodka, elderberries, fresh rose hips, juniper berries.

Contains alcohol (20% ABV). Not suitable for children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or before driving.
