Fresh batch, new beginnings & a little plot of magic

Hello,

Just a quick note to let you know a fresh batch is ready — and a little of what’s been happening here at Bloomfield Botanicals.

This week I made:

🫐 Spiced Elderberry Syrup 250ml — £25 £20 (20% off)

🌸 Elderflower Cordial 500ml — £17

🌿 Elderflower Oxymel 200ml — £18

Everything made fresh this week in small batches in Bath, with certified organic ingredients. No preservatives, no shortcuts — limited bottles, short window to order.

Beyond the bottles, things are growing. My neighbour has kindly given me a little plot just five minutes from home, and I’ve been planting calendula and German chamomile — two plants I’ve wanted to grow myself for a long time. Watch this space.

I’m also excited to introduce an echinacea tincture later this year. Our wonderful organic growers had a bumper echinacea harvest last season, and I want to make sure those beautiful flowers do their job — keeping you well through the winter months.

In the meantime, I’ve been drying elderflower for winter teas and have plenty set aside. And this week I finished making a Japanese-style pottery teapot — I cannot wait to brew my first pot of stinging nettle, elderflower and chamomile tea in it.

This weekend I’m off to learn how to grow mushrooms on wood the Japanese way. More to report next time.
